Permanent Makeup FAQs
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a treatment that uses tiny amounts of pigment to enhance your natural features. It can give you fuller-looking brows, defined eyeliner, or soft tinted lips, so you wake up ready each day without the need for daily makeup.
Do I Need a Consultation?
Absolutely. Every client starts with a consultation. We’ll talk through the look you want, check your skin type, complete a patch test, and answer any questions. This ensures your treatment is safe, personal, and perfectly suited to you.
What is a Patch Test?
A patch test is a quick check to make sure you’re not allergic to the pigments. We place a small amount of pigment on the skin (often behind the ear or on the wrist) and check for any reaction over 24–48 hours.
Will It Hurt?
Most clients are surprised at how comfortable the treatment is. Some compare it to light scratching. I always work gently and carefully, and your comfort is my top priority.
How Long Does Permanent Makeup Last?
Results can last between 1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for the area afterwards. A top-up is recommended to keep your results fresh.
What Is the Healing Process?
Healing usually takes 7–14 days for the skin to settle, though the colour takes up to 6 weeks to reveal its final shade. During this time, the pigment will soften and look more natural.
How Do You Choose the Colour?
We select your colour together, based on your skin tone, natural hair colour, and personal style. My goal is to give you a shade that looks flattering and timeless.
How Long Does a Treatment Take?
This depends on the area being treated.
-
Brows: 2–2.5 hours
 -
Eyeliner: 1.5–2 hours
 -
Lips: 2–3 hours

Time includes consultation, mapping, the procedure, and aftercare guidance.
Is Permanent Makeup Safe?
Yes. Treatments are carried out in a sterile, professional environment using high-quality, cruelty-free, and vegan pigments. Your health and safety always come first.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Less notice may result in loss of deposit, as this time is reserved just for you.
